Annai Veilankanni's Educational and Cultural Society, Saidapet, Chennai-15, was found in the year 1988, to cater the educational needs of Student community in and around Chennai. The Society has established Schools and Colleges in Saidapet, Nedungundram, Potheri and Perungalathur. The School at Saidapet is one of the best in Chennai. The Management was nursing the idea for a long time, to start a College for Students in Saidapet and suburban areas to make them students to continue their higher education in a conducive atmosphere.
